The project: We are seeking a Data Engineer to develop and maintain AWS-based data integration applications. Core responsibilities include data modeling, integration, data quality assurance, and making data readily available for reporting and dashboard creation. Additionally, this position should maintain and enhance the existing data applications and integrations. In this role, you will troubleshoot production issues, optimize data pipelines, and implement improvements that ensure reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize existing SSIS packages and SSRS reports;

• Maintain and build SSRS and SSIS;

• Troubleshoot and resolve data integrity and system availability issues;

• Help with data migration and integration between the on-premise systems and Azure to AWS cloud;

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and deliver reporting requirements;

• Stay up to date with data engineering best practices and tools.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with SQL Server Data Base, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS);

• Proven expertise with C#;

• Proven expertise with Visual Basic;

• Proven expertise with Script Component;

• Basic knowledge of Azure Cloud;

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts;

• Experience with Python for data manipulation;

• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal);

• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Nice to Have: 

• Experience with AWS, QuickSight, Tableau, and PostgreSQL.
