Project: We're seeking a proactive, hands-on QA professional who excels in manual testing methodologies and can contribute to building robust technical support processes for our insurance claims handling operations. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in both quality assurance and technical support capacities.

 

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive manual test scenarios using structured methodologies

• Perform thorough manual validation of RESTful APIs (POST, DELETE, etc.) and SOAP services, creating detailed and robust test cases through hands-on testing approaches.

• Conduct manual end-to-end testing across web applications and user interfaces, ensuring comprehensive coverage of user workflows and business processes.

• Identify edge cases and hidden requirements within test flows through meticulous manual exploration and systematic test case design.

• Collaborate with development teams to define test coverage KPIs and suggest quality improvements based on manual testing insights.

• Provide technical support for claims handling procedures, troubleshooting issues and documenting solutions for internal teams.

• Contribute to process definition and optimization of QA workflows and technical support procedures within the insurance claims domain.

• Communicate clearly in English with international teams and work independently with minimal supervision.

• Document and track defects with detailed reproduction steps and collaborate with development teams for resolution.

 

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in manual quality assurance with a strong foundation in test case design and execution.

• Expertise in manual API testing using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or similar platforms for REST and SOAP service validation.

• Proficient in manual UI testing with a strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and user experience validation.

• Experience with SOAP web service testing through manual approaches and testing tools.

• Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking in identifying testing coverage gaps and potential issues.

• Advanced written and spoken English for effective communication with international stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

 

Nice to Have:

• Automation testing experience with tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, and Playwright.

• Experience working in insurance or financial services with an understanding of claims processing workflows.

• Process definition and optimization experience, particularly in establishing QA workflows and technical support procedures.

• Technical support background with experience in customer-facing or internal support roles.

• Workflow optimization skills with the ability to identify and suggest/implement process improvements.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling for non-functional testing.

• Knowledge of BDD frameworks and collaborative testing approaches.

• Experience with defect tracking systems and test management tools.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in sprint planning and retrospectives.
