Project: Seeking a QA resource with experience in Underwriting and Policy Administration systems within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. This role will be responsible for end-to-end functional, regression, and integration testing as the organization moves from legacy underwriting workflow application to the new workflow platform. The ideal candidate will help confirm workflow accuracy, rule validation, transaction processing, data integrity, and overall business readiness.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts to validate the new platform functionality against legacy workflows, requirements, and expected business outcomes

· Validate underwriting rules, eligibility checks, referral triggers, and risk assessment logic to ensure accurate decisioning in the new workflow application.

· Execute test cases for endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and related policy lifecycle transactions.

· Perform regression testing and system integration testing to confirm that upstream and downstream systems continue to function correctly during and after migration.

· Ensure data integrity across policy systems, interfaces, and workflow handoffs; perform backend validation using SQL where needed.

· Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to understand underwriting how process should work, clarify expected results, and support defect triage and retesting.

Requirements:

· Experience testing underwriting workflow or policy administration applications within the P&C insurance domain.

· Understanding of policy lifecycle transactions and underwriting processes.

· Hands-on experience with functional testing, regression testing, system integration testing, and defect management.

· Ability to analyze business rules, validate workflow behavior, and compare current-state versus future-state application results.

· SQL knowledge for backend data validation and reconciliation.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with business and technical teams.

Nice to Have:

· Experience supporting testing activities for application migration, modernization, or workflow transformation initiatives.

· Automation testing experience with tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, and Playwright.
