Projetct: NTConsult is rebuilding the core operations platform of a US legal-services client — replacing a legacy database-driven workflow system with event-driven C#/.NET microservices, a modern React UI, AI-assisted document processing, and Camunda BPM orchestration. The platform runs a high-volume, audit-sensitive operation (hundreds of thousands of cases/year). We're hiring a hands-on Tech Lead to anchor the engineering team driving this rework.

Responsibilities:

- Lead architecture and hands-on development of the new platform: event-driven .NET/C# microservices, React front end, and the integration layer that replaces legacy structure.

- Own the modernization strategy - incremental, strangler-style migration off the legacy system with no disruption to live production.

- Set technical standards, review code, and mentor and grow the team.

- Partner with our Camunda specialists on the workflow-orchestration and business-rules layer (BPMN/DMN). Deep Camunda experience isn't required - process-automation thinking and ramping fast matter more.

- Bring AI into the build - document classification/OCR/extraction and AI-assisted engineering - to automate manual work.

- Work directly with US-based stakeholders to turn complex domain processes into clean technical design.

Requirements:

- 8+ years building production software, including 2+ in a technical leadership role and with at least one legacy-modernization or platform migration experience

- Strong C#/.NET and event-driven architecture; comfortable across the stack, including React.

- Proven track record modernizing legacy systems and integrations.

- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring - you set the quality bar and grow engineers.

- Clear communicator in English with non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-have:

- Workflow/BPM engines (Camunda, Flowable, Pega, Appian) and BPMN/DMN.

- AI/ML for document processing (OCR, classification, LLM extraction).

- Regulated-domain experience (legal, mortgage/financial services, compliance/audit-heavy).
