Project: We are looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Developer to join a data engineering team supporting a large U.S. financial services organization. The role is focused on designing and developing enterprise data warehouse solutions, with a strong emphasis on dimensional modeling and star schema design.
Resposibilities:
- Design and develop data warehouse solutions using fact tables, dimensions, bridge tables, and star schemas.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes that transform source data into well-structured analytical models.
- Develop database-centric transformation logic, primarily using SQL and stored procedures.
- Support the modernization of existing SSIS-based workloads toward Azure Data Factory and newer data platform patterns.
- Help evolve traditional batch-oriented data processing toward more modern and real-time data flows.
- Build data structures that support downstream Power BI and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) models.
- Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders during U.S. business hours.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
- Proven experience designing star schemas, including facts, dimensions, and bridge tables.
- Advanced SQL / SQL Server development skills, including T-SQL and stored procedures.
- Strong ETL/ELT development experience specifically for enterprise data warehouses, not only system integrations or analytics.

- Understanding of both traditional batch processing and modern data integration patterns.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in English.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or modern Microsoft data platforms.
- Experience supporting Power BI and SSAS.
- Experience with near-real-time or event-driven data processing.
- Financial services experience.
