We are seeking a Technology Migration Lead to actively participate in the migration of a legacy acquiring platform to a new acquiring processing solution.

The candidate will be responsible for leading the definition, planning, coordination, and governance of the migration strategy, ensuring operational continuity for customers, the integrity of balances and data, proper reconciliation between platforms, and a controlled execution of the cutover to the new platform.

This role will work closely with the financial institution, the technology provider, internal teams, and relevant third parties, ensuring that all participants share a common understanding of scope, objectives, dependencies, risks, open decisions, and readiness criteria ahead of go-live.

Required Experience

•      Experience leading complex technology migrations, ideally in financial services, acquiring, payments, transaction processing, or core platforms.

•      Experience defining migration strategies, cutover plans, reconciliation, rollback, and contingency.

•      Experience working with technology providers and multiple internal stakeholders.

•      Experience in data migration, defining data sets, mappings, transformation rules, and integrity validations.

•      Experience in projects with high operational, financial, or regulatory impact.

•      Experience coordinating integrated project plans and managing cross-functional dependencies.

•      Experience in decision, risk, and issue governance, and executive escalation.

•      Experience defining and tracking go-live readiness criteria.

Desirable Knowledge

•      Knowledge of acquiring platforms, payments, merchant acquiring, or transaction processing.

•      Knowledge of authorization, capture, settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, merchant onboarding, and product configuration processes.

•      Knowledge of migrations between legacy platforms and modern processing solutions.

•      Knowledge of financial and operational reconciliation.

•      Familiarity with systems integration, APIs, batch files, messaging, ISO 8583, or other payments ecosystem protocols.

•      Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and integrity controls.

•      Knowledge of waterfall, agile, or hybrid project methodologies.

•      Knowledge of management tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalents.
