We are seeking a Technical Data Migration Specialist to actively support the technology migration of a legacy acquiring platform to a new acquiring processing solution.

This role will report directly to the Migration Lead and will focus on the definition, design, development, validation, execution, and support of migration scripts, as well as technical data preparation, quality controls, reconciliation, and operational support during migration windows.

The candidate must work in close coordination with technology, data, architecture, QA, operations, technology provider, and other relevant third-party teams to ensure that migrated data is complete, accurate, consistent, and traceable.

Required Experience

•      Experience in the development, validation, and execution of data migration scripts.

•      Experience in technology migration projects, platform integration, or systems transformation.

•      Experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases.

•      Experience in advanced SQL and scripting.

•      Experience in ETL/ELT processes, data extraction, transformation, loading, and reconciliation.

•      Experience with data quality validations, integrity controls, and error handling.

•      Experience conducting technical tests, dry runs, troubleshooting, and support during critical windows.

•      Experience documenting technical processes, mappings, transformation rules, and execution evidence.

•      Experience working with version control and change management.

Desirable Technical Knowledge

•      Advanced SQL on engines such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalents.

•      Scripting in Python, Shell, PowerShell, PL/SQL, T-SQL, or other equivalent languages.

•      Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Talend, DataStage, SSIS, Airflow, dbt, or equivalents.

•      Knowledge of batch processes, flat files, APIs, messaging queues, or system integrations.

•      Knowledge of transactional data models.

•      Knowledge of financial or operational reconciliation.

•      Knowledge of payments platforms, acquiring, transaction processing, or financial services.

•      Knowledge of security controls, sensitive data handling, masking, and PCI compliance.

•      Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, Git, Bitbucket, GitLab, or similar.

•      Knowledge of cloud or on-premise environments, as applicable.
